Optimist Club Gives Back!

Optimist Clubs conduct positive service projects aimed at providing a helping hand to youth. Club Members are best known in their communities for their upbeat attitudes. By believing in young people and empowering them to be the best they can, Optimist volunteers continually make this world a better place to live

Our club motto is “Bringing Out the Best in Kids” and our primary goal is to serve our community through projects and programs designed to develop and enrich our youth. While we hold fundraisers throughout the year, the Optimist Golf Tournament in June of each year is our primary way to raise money for our high school scholarship fund. In 2018, we presented 20 scholarships for $9,500. This year’s golf tournament was very successful and we will be presenting many more scholarships in 2019! Our scholarships benefit graduating seniors who will be attending a community college, vocational or technical school.
