Witness Sacred Art in Motion! Join us for the Creation of the Manjushri (Wisdom) Buddha Sand Mandala with the Drepung Gomang Monks, led by Geshe Chaeden. Opening Ceremony: Sunday, July 13 at 1:00 p.m. at our center Daily Schedule: Monday & Tuesday, July 14–15 at our center • Opening Chant: 10:30 a.m. • Mandala Creation: All Day • Closing Chant: 4:30–5:00 p.m. Closing Day – Wednesday, July 16 at our center • Opening Chant: 10:30 a.m. • Mandala Creation continues to completion • Closing (dissolution) Ceremony: 2:15–5:15 p.m. Followed by a procession to Sunken Gardens and a sand release at the Salinas River. Each day, enjoy a craft table for visitors of all ages and browse the Tibetan Sacred Arts Tour’s fair-trade goods including mala beads, prayer flags, and more, all handmade by the monks in India.
