DESCRIPTION:We're excited to host the Life House Wellness Center Open House on Friday\, May 29th from 12:00 PM 3:00 PM\, located at 5850 W Mall in Atascadero\, nestled near the Sunken Garden.Life House Wellness Center\, a program of TMHA\, offers adults a warm and welcoming space to connect\, grow\, and feel supported. Through peer-led support groups\, wellness activities\, and community outings\, individuals are encouraged in their healing journey at their own pace. Our goal is to create a space where each person feels seen\, valued\, and supported.We offer a variety of peer-led groups\, including Anxiety and Depression\, Voices and Visions\, Self-Compassion\, Book Club\, Healthy Habits\, and Community Cooking and Baking. These groups are designed to foster connection\, build practical life skills\, and support overall wellness in a safe and inclusive environment.Our Open House is a wonderful opportunity to tour the space\, meet our team\, and connect with local organizations and resources. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month\, we will be hosting a variety of activities throughout the day\, including food\, wellness-based activities\, and opportunities to engage with community partners. Guests are welcome to stop by at any time and stay as long as they'd like.This year's theme\, "A Space for Growth\," reflects our commitment to providing a safe\, supportive environment where individuals navigating mental health challenges can build skills\, strengthen connections\, and move forward in their recovery journey.
